Suicide bomber targets northern Iraqi mosque, at least 12 killed

At least twelve people were killed after a bomb attack targeted a mosque in northern Iraq. A gathering was being conducted in Zahra Husseiniya in southern Kirkuk when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives, the National Iraqi News Agency reported on Thursday.
According to reports, people were gathered for a funeral ceremony for an individual who was killed during Wednesday`s attacks. Also on Thursday, at least eleven people were killed in Baghdad and Mosul, after a number of violent attacks involving car bombs and fire arms targeted mostly Shiite neighborhoods. Over 40 others were also reported injured.
