Commuter trains collide in Connecticut, at least 20 injured

USPA News - Two New York area commuter trains collided on Friday injuring at least 20 people, officials said Friday. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said the incident occurred on Friday evening at around 6:10 p.m. local time when an eastbound train derailed near the rail station in Fairfield, Connecticut, according to the New York Times.
The train collided with an oncoming train on the adjacent track that was traveling westbound. As a result, between 20 to 25 people were injured, a Fairfield Police Department spokesperson told the media outlet. A number of the trains` cars also derailed, but no casualties were reported after the incident.
