NASSER AL-KHELAIFI named Clubs rep. UEFA Professional Football Strategy Council

Was announced on October 17, 2016 by PSG that Paris Saint-Germain Chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi has been appointed by the Executive Board of the European Club Association (ECA) to take a seat at the prestigious UEFA Professional Football Strategy Council (PFSC). The decision was made during the ECA´s Executive Board meeting held in Zurich, Switzerland, on October 10, 2016. He will consequently become a member of the ECA Executive Board.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi will replace AC Milan´s former director Umberto Gandini on the PFSC. He will be one of the four clubs representatives together with FC Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu, Arsenal FC CEO Ivan Gazidis and PFC CSKA Moskva President Evgeni Giner to join the 16-member Assembly and the first representative of a French club to seat. The Professional Football Strategy Council (PFSC) brings together the main stakeholders in European football : UEFA, clubs, professional leagues and players.
