Roadside bomb kills 10 civilians in southern Afghanistan
USPA News -
At least ten people were killed after a roadside bomb attack in southern Afghanistan, local authorities said Monday. The attack took place in Afghanistan`s southern province of Kandahar at around 12 p.m. local time when a civilian vehicle was struck by an explosive device.
Kandahar`s security chief, General Abdul Razaq, spoke with Khaama Press, confirming the deaths of ten civilians. Among the fatal victims were seven women. In addition twelve others were reported injured, all of them women and children. No group or terrorist organization claimed responsibility, but Razaq blamed the Taliban, saying they had been targeting security forces with the mine.
