Ace in the Hole Productions, Dana Lustig Productions and Primary Wave Entertainment are pleased to announce Academy and Golden Globe Award-Winner Mira Sorvino has joined the cast of BEHIND THE GLASS. The new psychological-thriller is the U.S. directorial debut of Assaf Bernstein, writer and director of the original THE DEBT, the acclaimed Mossad spy thriller successfully remade by Miramax starring Jessica Chastain and Helen Mirren that earned more than $75M worldwide theatrically alone.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BERNSTEIN IS ALSO THE HELMER OF THE NEW HIT ISRAELI-----------------------------------------------------------------Bernstein is also the helmer of the new hit Israeli TV series Fauda, an intense political thriller, on which Bernstein is both director and show-runner and recently earned a slew of awards including Best Drama Series in the Israeli Television Academy Awards. Mira Sorvino joins Golden Globe and Emmy-nominee Jason Isaacs (Fury, Green Zone, Harry Potter Films) who is currently shooting HOTEL MUMBAI ““ the film will be distributed in the US and UK by The Weinstein Company, and Isaacs will be seen in the upcoming Netflix series the OA opposite Brit Marling, India Eisley (Underworld: Awakening, Kite, Adolescence, Clinical for Netflix), and Harrison Gilbertson (Fallen, Need for Speed, Haun, Virginia).
Also joining the BEHIND THE GLASS team is DP Pedro Luque, the cinematographer behind the upcoming remake of JACOB´S LADDER, and DON´T BREATHE, which made over $76M at the box office last month.

She recently finished production on 6 BELOW, a new dramatic thriller in which she stars opposite Josh Hartnett. BEHIND THE GLASS is a gripping psychological thriller that tells the story of Maria (Eisley), a shy and reclusive 18-year-old high school girl alienated by her parents, Amy and Dan, played by Sorvino and Isaacs, and known as an outcast by her peers. Her only confidant is her own reflection in the mirror, from which she derives comfort, a sense of belonging, and ultimately, her own demise. The role of Lily, Maria´s best friend, is still being cast.---------------------------------------------------
