The 71st regular session of the General Assembly of the UN was officially opened Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in New York in the US. The Secretary General of the Ban Ki-moon called on heads of state to serve the people and recalled the disastrous situation of Syria conflict.

The general debate of the regular session of the General Assembly of the United Nations began Tuesday in New York under the chairmanship of Fijian Peter Thomson. The Burkina Faso through his megaphone Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, delivered his message on Wednesday 21 September. And regarding the issue of climate change, he urged States to bring into force, the Paris agreement before the end of this year.
