"At this time, we are aware of and can confirm two U.S. citizens were killed in the attack in Nice on July 2016. We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of those killed." Says US Secretary Kerry, and visit the French Embassy in Moscow to sign a condolence book for the victims
World leaders voiced shock and solidarity with France over an attack by a man at the wheel of a truck that killed scores of people in the French Riviera city of Nice, and called for closer cooperation in the fight against terrorism.-------------------------
U.S. President Barack Obama issued a statement condemning the attack and saying, "We stand in solidarity and partnership with France, our oldest ally, as they respond to and recover from this attack." Secretary Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov visit the French Embassy in Moscow today to sign a condolence book for the Nice attack, in Moscow, Russia, July 15, 2016. Secretary Kerry is currently on travel to Moscow, Russia, where he met today with senior Russian officials to discuss Syria,Ukraine, and other key issues.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
