Sundance, a premier lifestyle retailer (women's and men's apparel, footwear, jewelry, accessories, art, and home décor) just opened a new store in Tigard, OR. It is located in Bridgeport Village, just outside of Portland, OR, a beautiful area, in a natural setting experiencing tremendous growth in both industry and culture. With a historical commitment to artisans, Sundance will donate a portion of the proceeds from the Grand Opening Weekend to Vibe of Portland, a Portland-based organization working to emphasize art education. Their focus is to expose children to arts and music where these programs have been reduced or eliminated from their educational experience.
The opening of the Bridgeport Village Sundance Store continues the company's recent retail expansion. Since August of 2015, Sundance has opened stores in the Galleria Edina in Edina, MN, NorthPark Center in Dallas, TX, Kierland Commons in Scottsdale, AZ, Southlake Town Square in Southlake, TX, and plans to expand their retail locations over the next several years.
Famed actor, director, and visionary of independent filmmaking, Robert Redford founded Sundance Catalog in 1989 to promote the works of artists and craftspeople from across the country and around the world. From a small operation run out of the attic of the old Sundance Village firehouse, Sundance has grown to become one of America's preeminent lifestyle retailers.
