Spanish Parliament denounced the Government for failing to submit to its control

USPA NEWS - The Spanish Parliament approved on Wednesday by 218 votes in favor, 113 against and 4 abstentions, the proposal of all opposition groups to raise before the Constitutional Court a conflict of powers between the Government of Spain and the Congress of Deputies.
The conflict answer to the acting Executive refusal to submit to the control of Parliament. All parliamentary groups of the opposition block proposed bring this conflict under Articles 73 to 75 of the Organic Law of the Constitutional Court, "as a result of the invasion of the powers of the Chamber produced by the Government's decision not to submit the control function of Government action, which was communicated through official of the Ministry of the Presidency of March 10, 2016 ".
The approval came the same day that appeared before the Congress of Deputies the acting President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, to report on the agreement adopted by the European Council on March 17 and 18 in Brussels and the meeting on March 7 by the heads of State or Government of the EU with Turkey about refugees, on request and Socialist Group, Podemos and Mixed Group.
The Socialist Group had requested that the acting Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy, realized before the plenary meetings of the European Council on Frebuary 18 and March 2, 2016 and March 17 and 18, 2016, in accordance with the provisions of the Act, as well as the Meeting of the Heads of State or Government of the European Union with Turkey, held on March 7, 2016.
The application registered by the Mixed Group and Podemos also requested that Rajoy explain the position defended during the event, as well as know, a posteriori, the adequacy of the advocated position and agreed by the Government with regard to the institutional declaration reads and approved during the last session of the Joint Commission for the European Union, on March 16.
For its part, the Spanish Government requested the attendance of the acting Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy, before the plenary of the Congress of Deputies, so that, in an extraordinary way by the urgency of the matter and found in functions the Government, report on the content of the issues discussed at the European Council in Brussels on March 17 and 18.
