Basque terrorist organization ETA admits to not having achieved its objectives

The Basque terrorist organization ETA issued Sunday a statement admitting that, five years after its declaration of ceasefire, has not reached the targets set in relation to the independence of the Basque Country and notes the dispersion of prisoners as the biggest unsolved problem.
On the occasion of the celebration, on Sunday, the Day of the Basque Homeland (Aberri Eguna in Basque), the terrorist organization ETA issued a statement through the pages of the newspaper Gara, which recognizes that, five years after his declaration of ceasefire, are not where they wanted, after the Basque separatist left would bet for exclusively political way to resolve the Basque conflict. The terrorist group criticizes the lack of dialogue with the Government of Spain and asks to place the "right to decide" of the Basque people in the center of the debate.
The terrorist organization claimed, as the most urgent solution to the problem of its prisoners. The Government of Spain has a policy of dispersal of ETA prisoners, serving sentences in prisons throughout Spain, against the wishes of the independent left and ETA itself, calling for his transfer to prisons in the Basque Country. However, in the lengthy statement, published in the Basque language and the newspaper Gara offers a Spanish translation, a possible surrender of weapons is not mentioned.
ETA concluded his statement condemned jihadist attacks of March 22 in Brussels, having "as targets ordinary citizens." The Basque terrorist organization, active for forty years, caused more than 800 deaths, including policemen, civil guards, soldiers, politicians and ordinary citizens, including children and attacks on the barracks of the Civil Guard Zaragoza and against the Hipercor hypermarket in Barcelona.
