PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN HP AND APF BY OFFERING AN EXCURSION OF SAILING BOAT

USPA NEWS - During 2015, the APF (Paralysed Association of France) delegation of Hauts-de-Seine (Paris suburbs) and HP company located in Nanterre have partnered, in an awareness of motor disability. The gesture of solidarity offered the disabled to go sailing boat and shall repeat the operation this summer.

During 2015, the APF (Paralysed Association of France) delegation of Hauts-de-Seine (Paris suburbs) and HP company located in Nanterre have partnered. This resulted in an awareness of motor disability and about accessibility. The story started in the premises of HP during the month of June 2015. This partnership has also enabled the delegation to buy a new oven for the members of the workshop and kitchen equipment. The gesture of solidarity offered the disabled to go sailing boat at few kilometres fro Nanterre, to Cergy, last summer. This adventure was such success that the two partners decided to repeat this operation next summer. Frederic SIcard in charge of the excursion explains “To continue this partnership between our two structures during the year 2015-2016, a meeting was held in September 2015 during which we discussed the various deadlines for the end of 2015 and 2016. It's been decided to conduct a new awareness in last November in the premises of HP.

"SAIL BOAT AT CERGY" IS AN AMAZING ADVENTURE FOR A GROUP OF DISABLED Other projects are in the pipeline, for setting up new outings. Inter alia, a project concerns the set up of a night out with disabled members of our delegation of Hauts-de-Seine during the month of June 2016. It´s about a sail boat excursion. This adventure will be financed with funds collected during the week of Social Impact HP, as explained, Frederic Sicard, Delegate of the APF and in charge of outings for disabled members of the Association.---------------------------------------------------------- The evening will take place on the leisure centre of Cergy-Pontoise. Of trained supervisors will be present to facilitate the veil off the access to the boat to its output via its navigation. There will be eight people disabled accompanied by four members of the delegation accompanying and 4) that will sail in dinghies 4 for 2 hours.
