153 terrorists have left Spain to fight alongside the Daesh and Al Qaeda

USPA NEWS - A total of 153 people, including Spaniards and citizens of other countries, have moved from Spain to Syria, Libya and Iraq to fight in the ranks of Daesh and subsidiaries of Al Qaeda in the Maghreb. Of that number, 25 have returned to Spain.

This was revealed Friday the Spanish Minister of Home Affairs, Jorge Fernandez Diaz, in an interview with Spanish public radio, during which he confirmed that the Spanish Police are examining the list of 22,000 alleged yahadistas of 51 countries on Thursday issued a British deserter of Daesh. The list includes names, addresses and phone numbers, many of them still operating, of Daesh members, including some leaders recently deceased as a result of attacks by the international coalition.

In addition, the Spanish Police monitored the 25 suspected terrorists who have returned to Spain from conflict zones, especially from Syria, Libya and Iraq. These three countries are the favorite of the 153 people who have left Spain in recent months to fight in the ranks of Daesh and subsidiaries of Al Qaeda in the Maghreb destination. Most of those people are Spanish, but there are also citizens of other countries who have used Spain as a platform for their transfers to conflict zones.

Indeed, Spain celebrates Friday the 12th anniversary of the attacks of March 11, 2004, when several bombs exploded inside several trains leaving or heading to Madrid, causing 192 deaths and more than 2,000 injured. The attacks were claimed by Al Qaeda, which calls for the reconquest of Al Andalus, the name of the ancient Muslim caliphate on the Iberian Peninsula and territorially coincides with the current Spanish region of Andalusia, and were justified by the participation of Spanish troops in the Iraq war.
