MATTHIAS FEKL TO LAUNCH THE LIAISON PARIS MEXICO IN A380 BY AIR FRANCE & ITS CEO

Matthias Fekl, Secretary of State responsible for foreign trade, promoting tourism and French from abroad, will travel to Mexico from 9 to 11 Feb, 2016, on the occasion of the inaugural flight of the A380 between Paris and Mexico operated by Air France in the presence of the CEO, Frederick Gagey.

This diplomatic trip in Mexico, is the first since the state visit of President Enrique Pena Nieto in France on July 14, and will reaffirm the close ties between France and Mexico, particularly dynamic since the arrival of responsibilities Presidents and Pena Nieto Francois Hollande in 2012.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On this occasion, the French-Mexican strategic consulting, chaired by Ambassador Philippe Faure, will meet with Mr Matthias Fekl and Ruiz Massieu Claudia, Minister of Foreign Affairs. Accompanied by a business delegation, Mr. Fekl will meet with Mexican authorities (Foreign Minister, Minister of Tourism, Vice Minister of Transport, Mayor of Mexico City, Minister of Economy. This will close up the High Level tourism group and meet with Mexican tour operators. In this context, it is will also be the opportunity to sponsor the signing of a letter of intent for a loan from the French Development Agency (AFD) in favor of the subway of Mexico in Queretaro and inaugurate a Safran engine maintenance plant.
Finally, Matthias Fekl shall also meet the French community, and the elected and consular advisors, in Mexico.
