G6 and US agree to continue sharing intelligence against the terrorism of DAESH

The meeting was also attended by the European Commissioner for Migration Affairs and Citizenship, Dimitris Avramopoulos; US Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and US Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson. At the meeting, the G6 ministers of Interior discussed the fight against jihadist terrorism, arms trafficking, trafficking in human beings, security and data protection as well as illegal immigration and asylum.
The Spanish Minister of Interior, Jorge Fernandez Diaz, stressed the importance of the joint political declaration signed by G6 ministers in the US and referred mainly to the fight against terrorism DAESH, and which reiterated the firm commitment to continue sharing intelligence and information together to be more effective in combating terrorism DAESH.
