INTERDEPARTMENTAL VICTIMS UNIT OPENED BY FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTRY TO SUPPORT

The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Development welcomes the premises of its crisis center since November 13 Interdepartmental Victims Unit (ICVA), which handles relations with the families of victims.------------------------------------
It consists of more than 110 people, officials of ministries of justice, interior, health and foreign affairs, health professionals such as the Red Cross, the establishment of preparedness and response to health emergencies, the medico-psychological emergency unit and members of victims' associations, and FENVAC, INAVEM.-------------------------------------------------------
The inter-ministerial unit has so far received over 9,000 calls on both numbers dedicated to the victims, 0800 40 60 05 from France and 01 45 50 34 60 from abroad.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The unit opened a reception and information center at the Military School. To date, twenty psychologists and health professionals and 14 experts will have hosted more than 800 people. A host cell for the benefit of relatives of the victims has been set up by the CIAV to the Forensic Institute to confirm identifications and allow them to pray before the remains of their loved one. CIAV is in contact with all the diplomatic representations of the countries whose nationals were victims of the attacks.
