FRANCE IS THE GUEST OF HONOUR AT INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR IN ALGIERS-------------------------------------France and its authors are, for the first time, the guests of honour at the International Book Fair of Algiers. Over sixty authors, publishers, academics and French filmmakers participating at the show, including Mathias Énard, Laurent Gaude, Caryl Ferey, Sophie de Closets, Nicole Garcia, Alexandre Arcady or Benjamin Stora. Ms. Fleur Pellerin, Minister of Culture and Communication, attended October 28 the opening of the exhibition with the Algerian prime minister.
