SEGOLENE ROYAL CHOOSES 12 INNOVATIVE PROJECTS IN WASTE MANAGEMENT RADIO ACTIVE

The total value of these projects is 40 million euros; they will be funded to the tune of 18 million euros by the future investment program and the remainder by industrial project partners. The management of radioactive waste from the decommissioning of nuclear facilities is a major issue for France because the share of this waste will grow in the coming years.-----------------------------------------------------Reduced volumes and more generally optimization of their management is therefore a priority. THREE OUT OF THE 12 SELECTED PROJECTS---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - CAMRAD the project will create a high-resolution camera hardened (resistant to radiation).
