Spain grows as before the crisis
Thanks to investment and consumption

The Spanish economy grew by 1% in the second quarter, one tenth more than in the previous quarter, thanks to investment, consumption and better export performance. Spanish economy stood at levels prior to the crisis.
Spain grows as before the crisis, according the macroeconomic data that the Ministry of Economy manage, developed by the National Statistics Institute (INE in its Spanish acronym). According to the department on year GDP growth in the second quarter by 3.1%, four more than in the previous quarter tenths. The Spanish Government maintains that this behavior speeds recovery and to affirm is based on GDP growth: the annual growth rate of the Spanish economy, the highest since the fourth quarter of 2007, stood at levels prior to the crisis.
These data, said Thursday the Spanish Minister of Employment and Social Security, Fatima Bañez, reveal that "Spain continues to lead the growth in the Euro zone." The minister, speaking to reporters, stressed that "the only recipe" for creating jobs and wealth is "add more people." According Bañez, "all growth is translating intensely on creating jobs and opportunities for the Spanish." The fight against unemployment is a priority for the Spanish Government, which continues to endure an unemployment rate above 20%.
