USPA NEWS -
Following the overwhelming victory of the "No" to the required consultation by Alexis Tsipras, the Greek Prime Minister on the European aid plan, the Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis announced his resignation on his blog. He´s been replaced at short notice by Euclide Tsakalotos.
" SOME MEMBERS OF THE EUROGROUP WISH MY ABSENCE" ACCORDING TO VAROUFAKIS ----------------------
"Shortly after the announcement of the referendum results, there he says, in a text written in English, I was informed of a certain preference of some members of the Eurogroup and" partners "associated (...) for my "absence" of meetings; an idea that the prime minister considered potentially useful to obtain an agreement. For this reason I left the Ministry of Finance today. "According Yanis Varoufakis, "the value" of the outcome of the referendum, which saw not prevail at 61.31%, is "significant," "like (that of) all fighting for democratic rights."
It was planned that Varoufakis resign in the AC or the referendum results in a YES, al; after voting. Now it is; reverse is happening, as if the Greek Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, must resume the negotiations at the “Eurogroup table“plus IMF (International Monetary Funds), ECB (European Central Bank) and sacrifices his budget minister.
Some members of the Eurogroup (the 19 countries of the Euro zone) expressed their "opposition" face negotiations with Yanis Varoufakis, considers " quite inflexible".
Indeed, it was expressed just before the referendum the media, (Spanish Journal “El Mundo“) judging the creditors of "Terrorists who seeks to humiliate the Greek people." A sentence murders and dangerous, in full period of negotiation, which by definition means that both parties take a step towards one another until reaching a compromise.
Alexis Tsipras who has savoured the triumph of NO (61.31% voting) obtained by referendum of vote, announced last night, as he has advocated has encouraged to vote “NO“ at this popular vote. The situation is more complex and henceforth difficult than ever for a new negotiation with the Eurogroup of both sides being given the new situation.
On Alexis Tsirpras rating is strengthened by the result of the democratic consultation of the Greek people, who have largely expressed his refusal to maintain or continue the austerity which they suffer, and the other not weakened the unexpected departure of Yanis Varoufakis. Unless this resignation was not even scheduled before the referendum, as a "progress" of negotiations precisely ...
A new high European Summit is imminent, knowing that Angela Merkel German Chancellor is meeting Francois Hollande tonight in Paris and speak with European meeting tomorrow in Brussels.
The new minister Tsakalotos freshly hired express nsure time will resume negotiations with the after referundum and continuity to the ratings of its prime minister Alexis Tsiprias.
