Kerry visits Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty Review Conference

USPA News - Secretary of State John Kerry will lead the U.S. delegation to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference, taking place from April 27-May 22, and will provide opening remarks on behalf of the United States on April 27. Other delegation members include Ambassador Samantha Power, U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations; Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Rose Gottemoeller; Assistant Secretary for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance Frank Rose; Assistant Secretary for International Security Tom Countryman; U.S. Ambassador to the Conference on Disarmament Robert Wood, and Ambassador Laura Kennedy, U.S. Charge d`Affaires at the U.S. Mission to International Organizations in Vienna. Ambassador Adam Scheinman, Special Representative to the President on Nonproliferation, will lead the negotiations.
