BREAKING NEWS: URGENT -- Obama to announce immigration reform on Thursday night

U.S. President Barack Obama will address the nation on Thursday evening to lay out the executive actions he will take to address immigration reform, he said on Wednesday in a video released by the White House. Obama said he will deliver an address to the nation from the White House at 8 p.m.
ET on Thursday. "Everybody agrees that our immigration system is broken. Unfortunately, Washington has allowed the problem to fester for too long, and so what I`m going to be laying out is the things that I can do with my lawful authority as president to make the system work better," he said. White House spokesman Josh Earnest added that Obama will travel to Del Sol High School in Las Vegas on Friday to discuss why he is using his executive authority now, and why he believes Republicans must act now to pass a long-term solution to immigration reform.
