MEDEF The powerful Mouvement of Entreprises in France

USPA NEWS - The MEDEF signed through the Pact of Responsibility with the French State in order to create 1 million jobs in 5 years. On 27 October 1998, MEDEF meaning "Mouvement of Enterprises of France"was created to replace the CNPF, National Council of French Employers.

Its purpose is to represent the French entrepreneurs to the state and trade unions. The organization claims 750,000 member companies. In 2010, the MEDEF has received €12 million in government grants for its contribution to the joint bodies, or 31% of its revenues on a budget, (2012) of €37.8 million. MEDEF protests against the brain drain, capital flight and relocation of large French companies abroad where tax conditions are milder in other climes and less complex than in France. This talent drain is like a net loss of French Heritage, which in addition to the rest has a negative impact at the national level: "France is a dreaming country less and less" according to Pierre Gattaz at head of the MEDEF since he was elected in 2013.

It is a sad statement based on purely economic-fiscal arguments but worthy of psychoanalysis based on a drop in morale that slows the momentum of the French economy, and since the consequences of the 2008 crisis. Another annual meeting which must meet the militants and their party leaders in government and those of the majority, including 35 members of the Assembly slingers (Who opposed PLRS: Responsibility and Solidarity Pact and Social Security) and propose a new "Pact Majority Left".
