THE OPEN DIPLOMACY INSTITUTE HAS SELECTED THE 7 YOUNG DELEGATES

USPA NEWS - The Open Diplomacy Institute organized from January 28 to 31, 2021 the Forum Devenir Delegate with the support of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and in partnership with HEIP. It involved examining the 593 applications received to join the French delegation at Y20 and Y7. The France team is made up this year of 7 delegates, 3 participants in the Milan Youth G20 organized in July, and 4 representatives in the Youth G7 scheduled for London in May 2021. The Open Diplomacy Institute examined each of the 593 applications, 45% of which passed the Forum Devenir Délégué tests, two days of negotiation simulation and an individual interview for each candidate. “To succeed in mobilizing so many candidates when the morale of the French, and young people in particular, is very low, it was a feat. We broke a record in terms of both the quantity and diversity of applicants, following a two-month recruitment campaign open to all. ARE RECRUITED FOR THE Y7 : “¢ Mrs. Clara AZARIAN, 24, student at AgroParisTech in sustainable development policies. “¢ Mr. Rycahel ERIC ANDRIANA, 19 years old, student at the University of Paris Panthéon Sorbonne in political science. “¢ Mr. Noé MICHALON, 27, journalist graduated from ESJ Lille and former Oxford student in African studies, project manager at the French Embassy in Kenya. “¢ Madame Gabrielle ROUSSEAU, 23 years old, former HEC student. Organized by Future Leaders Network with the support of the British Presidency of the G7, the Y7 will focus on the themes of health, the digital revolution, the fight against climate change and the economic crisis. Young Ambassadors Society is organized by with the support of the Italian Presidency of the G20, the Y20 will focus on ecological topics, from the fight against the climate crisis to the protection of biodiversity, the evolution of employment linked to the digital revolution and social cohesion.-------------------------------------------------------------------------- “The eleventh French delegation to the Y20 and Y7 will be rich in the skills and maturity shown by our seven recruits.
