Two enormous explosions rocked Beirut's (the Lebanese Capital) port on Tuesday, killing at least 73 people and wounding nearly four thousands victims, according to what was said by Health Minister Hamad Hassan who told Reuters that nearly 4,000 people have also been injured. US President Trump said that the United States of America is ready to assist Lebanon : « We will be there to help » . President Donald Trump said Tuesday that US generals had told him that the powerful explosions which rocked Beirut appeared to have been caused by a "bomb of some kind."“Let me begin by sending America´s deepest sympathies to the people of Lebanon, where reports indicate that many, many people were killed, hundreds more were very badly wounded in a large explosion in Beirut,“ Trump said at a press briefing Tuesday evening. “Our prayers go out to all the victims and their families. The United States ready to assist Lebanon.“ President Trump added."It looks like a terrible attack," Trump told reporters at the White House. "It would seem like it, based on the explosion," Trump said. "I met with our generals and they feel that it was.

"This was not some kind of a manufacturing explosion type of event," he said. "It seems to be, according to them -- they would know better than I would -- but they seem to think it was an attack. According to CNN, The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) says some of its naval peacekeepers were injured “” some seriously “” by the explosion that rocked Beirut on Tuesday. “UNIFIL is transporting the injured peacekeepers to the nearest hospitals for medical treatment,“ UNIFIL said in a statement. “UNIFIL is currently assessing the situation, including the scale of the impact on UNIFIL personnel.“ Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab said that the explosion in the Beirut “will not pass without accountability“ and “those responsible will pay for what happened.“ PM Hassan Dian added that an investigation into the explosion will include “revelations that will be announced about this dangerous warehouse which has been present since 2014“.

A massive explosion at Lebanon´s main port rocked Beirut, overwhelming hospitals dealing with the injured and dying. The blast was so large it blew out windows across the capital and was even heard from Cyprus. Authorities say it was caused by highly explosive materials at the port, but didn´t say whether it was an accident or an attack. The casualty toll continued to climb through the night on Tuesday, with the health minister saying around 11 p.m. that 67 people were killed and some 3,600 injured.
