Aruna 5K run/walk for the freedom

USPA NEWS - According to Aruna, "Aruna, a Hindi word meaning 'bright morning sun', is the name of an initiative in South Asia seeking to end Commercial Sexual Exploitation by bringing freedom and restoration to the many women and children sold into the trade."

Aruna is an organization that is helping for those who need freedom from the sex trafficking that is repeatedly happening in south asia. "There are ran estimated 15000 sex workers in a two square mile area who are seen as nothing more than flesh for sale". There is no hope that people can have neither the freedom for their own life. What caused this situation would be the poverty that the world has created. the lack of recourses that they are supposed to have is gone and no one knows where it is. Therefore, the organization is trying to help those who need and give them a hope so that not the environment, but they can be freed by themselves from the old life.

In this day, more than 400 people has gathering for the 5K run/walk in cincinnati with their friends or family members. with rememberance of the south asian female freedom, many people wrote down each person's name on the paper/tape and ran/walk with it. The heart of the people cincinnati, Oh supports and will find more opportunities in order to support Aruna's mission.
