USPA NEWS - Myths and Legends have generally come to be viewed as Work of Fiction, Superstition, or Fantasy. However, many have theorized that Myths were, in fact, a Way for People to explain Real (and perhaps Perplexing) Events using the Knowledge and Beliefs of their Time. In support of this Theory, a number of Events described in Mythology, which were once considered mere Fairy Tales, have now been proven through Archaeology to have existed, or at least to have some Basis in Reality.

- "SPARTE - Cité Des Arts, Des Armes et Des Lois" (Sparta - City of Arts, Weapons and Laws) by Nicolas richer and published by Perrin Editions. The Author is Lecturer at "Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon", Expert on the Archaic and Classical Eras, specially studying Sparta. His will to provide a rich and detailed Book about the History and Evolution of Sparta was to get rid of the Clichés regarding this specific City, often compared to Athens.

Given its Military Pre-Eminence, Sparta was recognized as the Overall Leader of the Combined Greek Forces during the Greco-Persian Wars. Between 431 and 404 BC, Sparta was the Principal Enemy of Athens during the Peloponnesian War, from which it emerged Victorious, though at a Great Cost of Lives Lost. Sparta's Defeat by Thebes in the Battle of Leuctra in 371 BC ended Sparta's Prominent Role in Greece. However, it maintained its Political Independence until the Roman Conquest of Greece in 146 BC. Sparta was Unique in Ancient Greece for its Social System and Constitution, which configured their Entire Society to maximize Military Proficiency at all Costs, and completely focused on Military Training and Excellence...
- "LE TITANIC - Vérités Et Légendes" (Titanic - Truth and Legends) by Gérard Piouffre and published by Perrin Editions. The Author wrote already around Thirty Books from which six written about the History of Ocean Liners. He is recognized as being Titanic International Expert and is regularly solicited by radios and Televisions.

The Titanic was a British Passenger Liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in the late Hours of 14 April 1912, after colliding with an Iceberg during its Maiden Voyage from Southampton to New York City. There were an estimated 2,224 Passengers and Crew aboard, and more than 1,500 died, making it one of the Deadliest Commercial Peacetime Maritime Disasters in Modern History. RMS Titanic was the Largest Ship afloat at the time it entered service and was the Second of Three Olympic-Class Ocean Liners operated by the White Star Line. It was built by the Harland and Wolff Shipyard in Belfast. Thomas Andrews, her Architect, died in the Disaster.
The Wreck of Titanic was discovered in 1985 and remains on the seabed. The Ship was split in two and is gradually disintegrating at a Depth of 12,415 feet (3,784 m). Thousands of Artefacts have been recovered and displayed at Museums around the World. Titanic has become one of the Most Famous Ships in History ; her Memory is kept alive by Numerous Works of Popular Culture, including Books, Folk Songs, Films, Exhibits, and Memorials. Titanic is the Second Largest Ocean Liner Wreck in the World, only beaten by her Sister HMHS Britannic, the Largest Ever Sunk. The Final Survivor of the Sinking, Millvina Dean, aged Two Months at the Time, died in 2009 at the age of 97.
