After Two Magnificent Performances in 2008 and 2009 which thrilled and astonished the Audience in Equal Measure, Edouard Baer returns to the Helm as MC of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Festival de Cannes, following a Ten-Year Spiritual Quest far from the Lights, Action and Noise. Once again this Year, he has agreed to share his Wonderful Personality with us for the Greater Glory of World Cinema, having nothing to gain from this Endeavour except some Significant Roles in Extremely High-Quality Films. Into this Formal Bejewelled Evening, he proposes to reinject a Revival of Taste for Cinema, a Certain Relaxed Gaiety, the Pleasure of Simply Being there ““ in Short, Life itself. And the Modesty of a Man who's delighted to be here with you again. Thank you for being there." The words of Edouard Baer.
CANAL+ produces the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 71st Cannes Film Festival, which will be broadcast Live and Exclusively on May 8 and 19, 2018.
