Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, in a meeting held jointly on Tuesday 5 September at the Quai d'Orsay, in the presence of the Presidents of the region, the Secretary of State, Jean -Baptiste Lemoyne, and Philippe Richert, President of the Regions of France and the Grand-Est region, signed a joint declaration of mobilization for export and tourism.
This declaration signals the desire of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and Regions to deepen their cooperation to achieve their common objectives: 200 000 exporting companies in 2020 compared with 125 000 today and 100 million tourists in 2020.

The regions will be responsible for defining and deploying the single window on export announced by the minister during the week of ambassadors, in close connection with the operator of the State Business France and chambers of commerce and commerce, industry and taking into account the specificities of each territory.
The regions will be able to draw on the expertise of Business France in the field of diagnosis, guidance and support for the individualized export of companies; they will also benefit from the support of the local network of Chambers of Commerce and Industry. This regional single window should be directly linked to the international export support network, enabling a homogeneous service in all countries.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The ambassadors will continue to be the leaders of the France team in the service of export. Similarly, relations between the regions and diplomatic advisors in the territories will be strengthened. The evolution of the priority export support families managed by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs will be the subject of a reinforced dialogue in order to take into account the sectoral priorities defined by the regions. In the field of tourism, the Ministry of Europe and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the regions have the common ambition of strengthening their coordination through destination contracts, an indispensable tool for federating initiatives.
