USPA NEWS - "The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, condemns with the utmost vigor the new nuclear test carried out this night by North Korea, following a series of tests of ballistic missiles confirming the repeated will of Pyongyang to infringe international peace and security. On August 28, North Korea's also tested its mid-range Hwasong-12 missile which travelled about 2,700km over Japan, and has a range potential of 4,000km, that is within range of Guam, a US territory in the Pacific Ocean. North Korea claims that it can mount nuclear warheads on its missiles, but experts doubt it. South Korea's military conducted a live-fire exercise early Monday in response to North Korea's latest nuclear test“¦North Korea said it successfully conducted a test of a hydrogen bomb Sunday -- the country's sixth nuclear test. -- The explosion created a magnitude-6.3 tremor, making it the most powerful weapon Pyongyang has ever tested. -- Hours before the test, North Korean state media released pictures of the country's leader, Kim Jong Un inspecting what it claimed was a nuclear warhead being placed inside a missile“¦ according to CNN.---------------------------------------------------- "The President of the French Republic calls on the members of the UN Security Council to react quickly to this new violation by North Korea of “‹“‹international law, the nuclear non-proliferation regime and the resolutions of the Council, whose resolution 2371 adopted on 5 August 2017 unanimously.
