Its very first Conference on this topic happened in the year 2013 and the second in “” 2015.
The event had grown to become an International Conference, as in 2015 it welcomed guests from twelve countries such as Germany, Japan, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, Australia, the Czech Republic,Portugal, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Recreational Mathematics have been a department of Mathematics since long ago and is continuing to be appealing to professional and amateur mathematicians, as well to Mathematics students, school students, learning Mathematics, and, often, to their parents and family members, as an interesting and engaging pass-time.
Among the greatest developers of the field are
Lewis Carroll (1832-1898),
Sam Loyd (1841-1911),
Henry Dudeney (1857-1930),
Yakov Perelman (1882-1942),
Joseph Madachy (1927-2014),
Solomon W. Golomb (1932-2016),

The MOVES 2017 Conference will host and offer 32 Research Talks, 22 Guided Mathematical Activities, A Mathematical Walk in the Madison Square Park, Open House at MoMath, Math Magic, Musical Skit, Puzzles, Sudoku, Algebra Games, Playful Geometry, Card Shuffling etc. The conference will feature two key-note speakers: Persi Diaconis, of Stanford University, Banjul Bhargava, of Princeton University and Art Benjamin, mathematical entertainer.
