Council adopted Drasa Award for Sports Science, one academic research and development of sports science activities that support the expansion of sports base to strengthen cooperation with the bodies and institutions working in the field of sport in order to provide the best advanced scientific
And sports levels of care as well as interaction with the requirements of the times and challenges, the results of the third session of "Arab Sports Initiatives international "2016 - 2017, which was attended by more than one hundred and twenty file from 11 Arab countries and competed for the competitive award categories and after the completion of the arbitration proceedings and differentiation results were adopted as follows:
First class athlete best scientific research applied
won the prize , Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Jaballah of the Arab Republic of Egypt
First class athlete best scientific research applied
won the prize , Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Jaballah of the Arab Republic of Egypt
Second , the best intellectual class production athlete
came equally between
1 - Dr. Suhal Hermassi of the Republic of Tunisia
2. Dr. Farid Moisi of the Republic of Algeria
Third: the category of best sports lecturer
came equally between
1-Prof. Dr. / Hashim Al - Kilani from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
2-Prof. Dr. Ogla Suleiman Ali Khudair Houri of the Republic of Iraq
came equally between
1 - Dr. Suhal Hermassi of the Republic of Tunisia
2. Dr. Farid Moisi of the Republic of Algeria
Third: the category of best sports lecturer
came equally between
1-Prof. Dr. / Hashim Al - Kilani from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
2-Prof. Dr. Ogla Suleiman Ali Khudair Houri of the Republic of Iraq
Fourth: the category of best initiative professional organization
came as a result of this category as follows:
1-Bahrain Olympic Committee that initiative (Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Award for Scientific Research in the sports field).
2. Faculty of Sports Science and Physical Activity at King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, for ( to obtain accreditation on the Arab and international levels to provide administrative services for students and academic staff of the college and the community to support the educational and research services) certification.
came as a result of this category as follows:

It should be noted that the Drasa Award for Sports Science, is one of the Arab Sports Awards with independence and credibility, which originated the idea of the award is convinced that science is based on work and success, which established a definite desire to honor outstanding locally, regionally and internationally professionally and scientifically and mathematically who provided services or ideas or programs or Achievements have had the greatest impact on the advancement of the profession of physical education and sport by giving them bear pride and appreciation award.
The Chairman of the Award offers thanks to all the candidates in all categories of the award for the third session, and congratulated the winners completing the third session, and thanked the members of the Award Council and working committees and the Secretariat of the award on the great role in the success of its work.
Will receive awards within the activities of the annual Drasa Sports Science Forum, which will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia during the period 6 to 7 May next, which is one of the programs that have an impact in sports science, which will shed the light through the forum axes to support the future of the sport in the Arab world in all its aspects, as invited academics, workers and researchers in the sports sector.
