'VERS UNE CRISE DU 7ème ART ?' (Toward a crisis of the 7th Art ? - published by Problèmes Economiqes Magazine/La Documentation Française). When, as in France, the Government is involved in the production of movies, the industry and the art become a matter of politics. Since Vincent Maraval (a founder of the production and distribution company Wild Bunch), published a piece in Le Monde entitled, 'French Actors Are Paid Too Much!', debates come along regularly regarding the French film industry and its followers. Historical, artistic, and national issues are brought into play. This issue of Problèmes Economiques Magazine (Economic problems) develops different sides/aspects of the French Cinematographic and Television fields. His story is told to be 'the American story'. With a father from Kenya and a mother from Kansas, President Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. He went on to attend law school, where he became the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. Upon graduation, he returned to Chicago. He was elected the 44th President of the United States on November 4, 2008, and sworn in on January 20, 2009. After being re-elected in 2012, President Obama is currently serving his second and final term, which will end in January 2017.... This special issue goes through all issues the actual president has to face, the Obamacare, how he was dealing in international diplomaty,, the debt of the American students, the trans-Pacific Treaty... 'IRAN le retour' (IRAN the return - published by Questions Economiques/La Documentation Française). This issue is dealing with several aspect of what might be considered as the great return of IRAN and its leaders on the international business and political main leading positions. After years of struggle and stasis, Iran's energy sector enjoyed a strong 2016 and should start 2017 with optimism. Following the lifting of sanctions, oil production and exports have been restored, creating a platform for much-needed international investment. This issue develops chapters such as : return on 12 years on nuclear negociations, IRAN, the new regional power ?, pragmatism of the leaders, realpolitik, iranian cinema, active diplomaty,... We continue to live in a tough, violent world. Diplomacy must always be given a chance. And even if it fails, it is a prerequisite to gaining the support of others and the effective use of force. 'L'ALGERIE puissance régionale' (ALGERIA regional power - published by Questions Economiques/La Documentation Française). ALGERIA (officially the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria) is a sovereign state in North Africa on the Mediterranean coast. Its capital and most populous city is Algiers. Algeria is the tenth-largest country in the world, and the largest in Africa. Ancient Algeria has known many empires and dynasties, including ancient Numidians, Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, Vandals, Byzantines, Umayyads, Abbasids, Idrisid, Aghlabid, Rustamid, Fatimids, Zirid, Hammadids, Almoravids, Almohads, Ottomans and the French colonial empire. Berbers are generally considered to be the indigenous inhabitants of Algeria. Algeria is a regional and middle power. The North African country supplies large amounts of natural gas to Europe, and energy exports are the backbone of the economy. According to OPEC Algeria has the 17th largest oil reserves in the world and the second largest in Africa, while it has the 9th largest reserves of natural gas.... Understanding this, one can understand the reason why such focus on this country. This issue develops different aspects such as : 'the opening' of the country to foreign invesments and policy, what happened after the independence, the 'illusion' of stability, the weight of the past, between internal challenges and external risks...
