JEAN-MARC AYRAULT meets BAN KI MOON before leaving UNITED NATIONS

On November 18, 2016, at the Quai D'Orsay (PARIS), Jean-Marc AYRAULT (French Minister of Foreign Affairs) met Ban KI MOON (Secretary-General of the United Nations) before this last one leaves the Presidency of the United Nations. Ban KI MOON was coming from Marrakech where was held the COP22. Both of them gave a Press Conference summarizing their meeting and the main international issues discussed.

Both of them emphasized the need for consolidation of peace in MALI and in Central African Republic, being a real challenge. Also, Jean-Marc AYRAULT insisted on the situation in SYRIA and the 'Palestinian Israeli peace process' where FRANCE expects to play a major role. Ban KI MOON highlighted the role played by FRANCE in the development and adoption of the 2030 Sustainable Development Program. Ban KI MOON thanked FRANCE for its leading role toward peace,development and human rights....
